What Movy does

Movy is an iPhone wallpaper app with Daily wallpapers, curated Collections, an on-device Studio, and iCloud-synced Saves. Some features require an internet connection to load images and metadata.

Information processed by Movy

• Wallpaper activity. When a wallpaper is saved, Movy sends the wallpaper path and either your Sign in with Apple identifier or an anonymous value to our service so downloads can be counted and the service can operate reliably.
• Sign in with Apple. If you choose to sign in, Movy stores the stable Apple user identifier and any name Apple provides on your device. Movy uses sign-in to enable iCloud Saves; it does not receive your Apple ID password.
• iCloud Saves. Favorited wallpaper references are stored in your private iCloud container so they can be available on your Apple devices. Apple operates iCloud and processes this data under its own privacy terms.
• Photo Library. Movy asks for permission only when you save a wallpaper. It adds the selected wallpaper to Photos and does not upload your existing photo library.
• Network information. Like most online services, Movy's content and API providers may receive standard request data such as IP address, device and browser information, request time, and requested URL in their server logs.

No advertising or tracking

Movy does not display advertising, request App Tracking Transparency permission, access the advertising identifier, or track you across other companies' apps and websites.

How information is used

• Deliver Daily and Collections content.
• Save and sync the wallpapers you favorite.
• Record wallpaper downloads and maintain service reliability.
• Protect the service from misuse and respond to support requests.

Retention and your choices

On-device preferences remain until you change them or remove the app. You can remove saved wallpapers in Movy. You can also remove Movy's iCloud document from the Files app and manage Sign in with Apple from your Apple ID settings. Service logs are retained only as reasonably needed for security, reliability, support, and legal obligations.

Children and international use

Movy is not directed to children under the age required for consent in their country. Information may be processed in countries where Movy's service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable law.
